4th Grade Field Trip
Last Friday, Parker's class took a field trip to an Agriculture Museum closeby. They were gearing up for their "Pioneer Day" celebration over the weekend, and our kids got to have a "sneak peek" at some of the exhibits. It was really neat, and really made you appreciate the things we have today and the things we can just go to the store and buy. They got to see how they used to wash clothes, quilting, pottery, goat milking (this one was about all Parker and his buddy, Timothy, could handle :)), basket making, and lots of other cool things. Here are some pictures of Parker that I managed to snap throughout the morning. He really seemed to enjoy himself. You can see in the bottom picture of this collage his reaction to the goat-milking.....
It was a cold day, but very interesting....I'm glad the kids got to go.
My name is Stephanie Finton. I am the wife of Mark Finton, and mom to Parker and Kinlee. I have entitled our blog "Lovin' Every Minute of It" because that is exactly what we are doing. There are so many things in our lives that tend to distract us, and we are striving every day to make the most of the opportunities and time that God has given us. It is our goal to live as God wants us to, raise our family to do so, and touch as many lives along the way as we can. Please join us in our journey as we share our lives with you.
