CUTE Keychains....

Well, I survived the consignor's sale last night...it went great!

This year, I had a lady make and display some monogrammed keychains in my sale. They are so cute, and so perfect for gifts or for you!! She has every initial there is, along with "Teacher", "Mom", "Me-Me", and "Nana". I think she's even bringing some "Dad" ones. She sells them for $8 apiece, and she sold several in just the 2 1/2 hour sale last night. If anyone that sees this would like to order one, let me know, and I'll pull one for you. Like I said, they are $8 even - no tax. Just thought I'd share...

It's Sale Time Again....

As many of you know, I started a Children's Consignment Sale last year. I do it twice a year (fall/winter & spring/summer). Well, it is sale time again!!! It has been crazy this week with 45 consigners!!! I have been accepting clothes all week, and tonight is the sale for those who put things in it. It is gonna be a crazy 2 hours, but I love it!!! Below are some pictures of how our house looks.

Our sunroom is full of toys, furniture, games, books, and just about anything else you can imagine, and our living room is full of clothes and shoes. The sale will run this weekend, and then it will all go back to "normal" for another 6 months or so!! SO, if you've been wondering where I've been the past few days, here it is.....I'll post an update soon.

It is OVER!!!!

Yes, that is right - I have survived the consignment sale. I am not complaining by ANY means, but it dawned on me about half way through this thing that almost twice as many consignors means twice as much work!! I was one busy chic! That's okay, though, because all the hard work definitely paid off! The sale this time did quite a bit better than my last one, and I am so thankful! I couldn't have done it, though, without the help and patience of my hubby and kiddos.

Now that all the "stuff" is pretty much out of the house and things are back in place, it's time to change hats and focus on Lads to Leaders this weekend. We will leave EARLY Friday morning and return home Sunday afternoon. We are so looking forward to this trip! The kids have worked so hard to prepare for it and I know it will prove to be a great weekend. I hope to have lots of pictures to post when we get back. Say a little prayer, if you don't mind - Parker has been home the last 2 1/2 days from school with sinus and ear infections. His voice is almost gone - not good considering he has a puppet show, speech, and scripture reading to do this weekend! I have had him whispering when he does talk, so hopefully he will be fixed and ready to go by Friday. Pray that he gets better in time and that none of the rest of us get it! Thanks!!!

Why Haven't I Blogged in Over a Week??!!

Here's why!!!!!

That's right - it's Consignment Sale time again!!! Here are some before and after pictures of our house this week. I have actually ended up with almost TWICE as many consignor's as in the fall, and I am so thankful! We have so much stuff in this house!!! The sellers get to shop tonight and then the sale is open to the public from Thursday through Saturday. SO, needless to say, I probably won't be blogging much between now and then. Just wanted to "check in" to let you know we are still very much alive, just very much busy, too!!! I'll give a sale update when it is all over (if I'm still here!!!)
