We are such a sad, pitiful lot...

Okay, so, we are trying our best to get out of town today to head to Little Rock for Mark's side of the family's get-together for Christmas (okay, that was a long description)..... The kids both had Christmas parties at school this morning, Mark had an out-of-town meeting and is trying to finish up some stuff for a meeting on Monday, the dog peed on the carpet, and the car needed washed out and loaded. SO, Christmas parties down, Mark finishing up his stuff, pee cleaned up, the kids and I load up to go wash the car. It is very nice outside today, especially for December, and I guess the kids have been cooped up inside the house for too long, because.......after we got our car washed at the automated carwash, I proceeded to pull around to vacuum it out. As I was rushing to vacuum it out in the 1 minute that it seems like the machine gives you for your dollar, I could hear the kids yelling and screaming and laughing, along with horns honking periodically. Well, I look up to find the pictures above. You see, it is also very windy today - SO, the kids strategically positioned themselves about 40 yards from the end of the automated carwash, so that the water from the car wash after ours would blow their way, saturating them with sprays of water, as they danced around, cheering for the lady in the carwash. Notice the scene above of Kinlee basking in the spray, as if she is on the beach, wearing flip-flops, nonetheless, that are 3 sizes too big. Alongside Parker who seems to be saying "give me more...." to the poor lady who has no choice but to sit in her car and watch this "show" of sorts, taking place in front of her. What was a blogger to do? Oh yes, I grabbed the camera, that's what I did - blog material, for sure!!!
