"Skating" in the New Year....

Today, the kids and I headed to Milan for some skating fun. We are still trying to get the most out of this Christmas break. Mark was feeling a little under the weather (he's been sickly for about 4 days now), so I talked him into staying home and actually getting some rest while we were all gone and he had the house to himself. We ended up calling and inviting one of the girls from church to meet us there, so her dad brought her and dropped her off. We also ran into a couple of others from church, as well. The kids had a good time skating, playing limbo, doing the Hokey Pokey, and having fun with friends. While we were there, Kinlee seemed to not be feeling too well, and sure enough, when we got home, she was running a 102 fever!!! What kind of mother am I?! So, after a warm bubble bath, some ibuprofen, and some snuggly jammies (for her, not me :)), she seemed to be doing some better. Hopefully, she will sleep well tonight and wake up as good as new in the morning (crossing fingers now). Despite the sickies, we had a great time. And, hey - I didn't fall ONCE!!!!!

I'm pretty sure the last time I went skating was during interface my freshman year of college...umm like 12 years ago or something like that.... at least I think that was the last time. I have a terrible memory :-) Sounds like fun though!!
Hope Kinlee feels all better tomorrow! And Mark too!!

Stephanie-
Finally looked up your blog-I love it! You know Kinlee probably was running that fever when she fell down and you wouldn't help her up. Tsk Tsk :)
