Each month, our adult Bible class has a class-wide get together. A different family is in charge of it each month. We always have such a good time, but I think this month's activity was one of the best ones yet! The Ramakers planned a day of competition similar to "The Amazing Race". We were divided into teams (bummer that the Finton "blue" team was split up), had to figure out clues, enter coordinates into our GPS', and search the town for more clues to lead to our final destination. We had to complete certain events/tasks in order to get our next clue sheets, and travel all around town (NOT speeding or breaking any other laws, of course) to try to come out on top.
The entire race took about 2 and a half hours, and we had a great time. We had 3 teams all together, and several broken laws, a very physical encounter at one of the stops (Mark says Joetta threw the clue far away so that his team had to search for it, Joetta says Mark body-slammed her as a result - it got ugly :)), and a lot of laughs later, mine and Kinlee's team came out on top. I won't say for sure who came in last, but I will say that 2 blue shirted boys were pretty bummed at the end....
All in all, it was a great afternoon of fun, fellowship, and getting to know eachother even better!
