Decisions, Decisions.....

Well, the past few days have brought much "decision making" to a certain 7 year old girl!!! Kinlee has been working hard to start saving for her much-wanted American Girl doll. She first decided that she wanted one that looked somewhat like her, but has since changed her mind and decided that she wanted "Molly" (pictured below), so the quest for Molly began. Again, a big task for a 7 year old - saving up almost $100!!! This morning, much to her surprise, we received an email from my sister. Her daughter (also Kinlee's age) is also saving up for a certain doll, and has offered to sell Kinlee HER "Molly" doll (still in excellent condition) for $35!!!!!! Mission accomplished - the doll is on its way!! Thanks, Hannah, for coming to our aid and rescue!!
Another big decision (to her anyway), was Kinlee's decision to get "bangs". For those of you with 7 year old girls who change their minds A LOT, I was concerned about the change. Once they are there, they don't just go away! After much deliberation, the bangs have arrived. I must say, I was a little (okay, a lot) skeptical, but I really like the finished look. It has taken some getting used to (for both of us), but she's happy, so I'm happy. Stay tuned for the post of the future, "These Bangs are Driving Us CRAZY!!", when she decides to let them grow out!! Until then, one Molly doll and some bangs later, we are sittin' pretty.......

I love the bangs! Hallie went with Jon when he got his hair cut and came back with layered bangs! She wasn't even going to get her hair cut! I was in shock and not very happy, but she does like them, so it is all good now.

I'm happy that she is getting Molly!! That'll be so exciting for her! I also love her bangs! They are very "in" right now!

Also, the kind she has won't be hard to grow out if she ever wants them to. I'm growing mine out for the umpteenth time and there are a lot of cute things you can do with them.

And great deal on Molly!! Kit and Felicity are ecstatic to meet her!!

My girls chose to not get the doll that looked them either..besides the History one is educational. Chloe is reading the Molly books again right now because of her WW2 class at co-op.:)

love the bangs! Today was the first time I got to see them- I noticed them right away and told her I loved her new hair, but it makes her look so much older- they're growing up way too fast!!
